Invitation for Bids

1. Nepal Telecommunications Authority has own fund and part of the proceeds of this fund will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to eligible bidders to participate this bid.
2. Nepal Telecommunications Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply and Delivery of the following equipment and Accessories as specified in Bidding Documents(Schedule of Requirements)  as follows:
   • Lot No1; Delivery of Handheld Spectrum Analyzer
   • Lot No 2; Delivery of EMR Measurement Tools.
   • Lot No 3; Delivery of Network Benchmarking Optimization Device (Optimizer)

        The bidder may submit the bid for one or more lots as detailed above.

1.  National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with PPA's Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and in accordance with NTA Bylaw & Public Procurement Regulations.
2. Only eligible bidders with the following key qualifications-should participate in this bidding:
   • Minimum average annual turnover of NRs 10 Million for each Lots calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed within the last 3 years.
   • Has successfully completed a Contract as main Supplier of goods of similar nature over a three year period ending on the deadline for bid submission.
   •  Has assurance of a service facility and the availability of spare parts would not be problem in the Purchaser's Country.

1. Deliver your bid:
   • To the address above
   • On or before 25 February 2015; 12:00 hrs. Local Time (NST)
   • Together with a Bid Security in the amount as specified in the Bidding Document (Data Sheet)
   • Bids will be opened immediately after the deadline in the presence of bidders’ representatives  who     choose to attend.
   • In case the day of final Bid submission falls on a public holiday, the final Bid submission date shall be  following working day.
2. Nepal Telecommunications Authority will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of Bids.
