As per the provision of Telecommunications Act.2053 (1997), Section 30 sub-section (4) Nepal Telecommunication Authority created Rural Telecommunication Development Fund. The Licensee shall deposit 2 percent of their annual income every year on this fund. The Authority shall use the amount deposited in the fund for the development, extension and operation of the Telecommunications Service in the rural area as per the policy of Nepal Government relating to the Telecommunications.
